Wierschem`s Train Town Candies & Ice Cream Parlor in Jackson

Train Town is a favorite place to stop on Main Street in Jackson. Their selection of home made fudge cannot be beat. Their milk shakes are my favorite source of brain freeze. Their assortment of candy from far and wide will allow you to sample treats from other parts of the country. I'm not big on model trains, but they have a fine selection of trains and hobbyist materials as well.

Friendly staff and all kinds of different selections

went there 5/17/16 there was only one girl working it was super hot i had my daughter and my dog i tied him outside i only needed one cone of icecream there was literallty noone there in the shop i asked the girl if she could give me a cone and she just kept sorting candies and said shed be rite with me i waited a couple minutes and she was still doing the same thing didnt even look my way it was so hot and all i needed was a cone i just finally left because i wasnt going to wait for her when she was doing nothing important been here plenty of times usually people are very nice and help you right AWAY i dont know if this girl was new but someone should teach her how to work .seriously never going here again

Exceptional candy store in downtown Jackson that is reminiscent of candy stores of a bygone era.Homage chocolates, fudge, saltwater taffy, and almost any type of candy imaginable can be fount in this quaint shop.The "Retro" candy section is a pure blast-from-the-past, many candies that I have not seen in 20-30+ years.A delightful and fun place for young and old!

Cute little shop! Lots of candies and gifts available. I believe we meet the owner while we were there and she was sweet and very friendly. Nice spot to stop in, browse, and pick up something for your sweet tooth!

This is a really rare find candies,soda ice cream it brings out the kid in you. You can't go wrong getting your candies here.

An amazing store with lots of old fashioned candies and delicious fresh fudge in so many favors and 100's of Pez collector items plus wood carved trains and cars. We will go there every time we visit Jackson CA

Large selection of taffy, homemade fudge, and hard to find old fashioned candy. A big thank you to the kind woman who invited us in even though the store was closed. My cousins and I were in town from out of state, and they remembered coming here as kids ands desperately wanted taffy.

Wonderful candy store, loads of taffy, fudge, and Jelly Bellys. Also have ice cream and iced mocha drinks.

We stopped in to this quaint town just looking for lunch. What we found is the BEST HOMEMADE FUDGE on the planet. Perfect combination of flavors and creamy smoothness. I was looking on line hoping they had a web site to order but I will just call them directly. If you like homemade fudge you CANNOT afford to miss this store!!!

Always has been one of my favorite "sweets" shops. Workers are always friendly and very helpful. I definitely recommend this place to anyone curious.

Great selection of child hood favorites and they have great hand made wooden toys great for children. You can't go there and not try their fudge it is truly amazing!
